The power line easement through my property states that I am permitted to use the easement area for several things, including a driveway. That saved me time and money on obtaining a permit from the county and the cost of installing a culvert at the road ditch, excavating and driveway material. The easement road was in poor shape so I rented an excavator and built it up.

It got old hauling equipment back and forth the 90 miles from home and hotel stays during work and hunting weekends got expensive so I decided to build a barn with a sleeping loft. A pole barn design would be the fastest and cheapest route so as soon as the ground thawed, we got started.

The barn is almost complete, I am alternating between finishing it and getting fall food plots in. I should have the barn completely done before the archery opener on September 27th.
